Pair of leaf mugs
This pair of mugs was thrown on the wheel, carved with a spiral pattern, fitted with a flat extruded handle, then reduction fired in a gas kiln to Cone 10. The green glaze turned shades of brown around the edges and on high spots in the carving, resulting in a lovely striated pattern. Dishwasher and microwave safe. Large 4-3/4" h x 3-1/2" d x 4-1/2" w; small 4-1/4" h x 3-1/8" d x 4-1/4" w.
